NSR Meeting 2025 - Copenhagen

Secretary General, PCC Egon Bjørn Andersen:
On behalf of the MD 106 Council of Governors, I am delighted to invite all Lions members from the Nordic countries to join us at NSR 2025. We have prepared an exciting program, and I truly hope it will appeal to Lions members across the Nordic region.

Naturally, we will also conduct the formal NSR meeting, following the agenda and addressing resolutions in the best possible way. Equally important, though, is the chance to reconnect with old friends, meet new ones, and share experiences.

MD 106 is looking forward to a productive and positive meeting, especially as we celebrate 75 years of Lions in Denmark. Together, we will make decisions and launch initiatives that benefit the many people Lions were founded to help. We look forward to seeing you all in Glostrup/Copenhagen in January 2025

This year, there are two main topics to be discussed at the meeting:

Lions and UNICEF

Lions and UNICEF with a focus on joint activities around the world and experiences from the collaboration between MD106 and UNICEF. Can this co-operation be extended to the other Nordic countries?

Secretary General of UNICEF Denmark, MS. Susanne Dahl, gives an exciting presentation, and brings the audience into UNICEF's engine room, where the focus is on helping children in need around the world.

Environment and climate

The second main topic at NSR 2025 is the environment and climate. Perspectives will be drawn to challenges in the Nordic countries and the joint actions we need to take both as lions and citizens.

Lions Denmark proudly present a Nordic capacity in this area.

Mr. Hans Jakob Eriksen, Senior Advisor, Environment and Climate, Nordic Council of Ministers.

Mental Health and Well - Being

PIP Guðrún Bjôrt Yngvadóttir talks about Mental Health and Well-being. She has been tasked by IP Fabricio Oliviera with promoting his new initiative whenever she has the opportunity. It is therefore a unique opportunity for participants in NSR 2025 to be inspired to take this initiative among the activities that take place in the clubs.

Gudrun Guðrún Bjôrt Yngvadóttir is also Lions International's representative in the WHO.
Take advantage of this opportunity to meet one of our organisation's great leaders from the Nordic region.
